Qualicum River Estates

Qualicum River Estates is a 228 lot multi-phase rural residential subdivision of a 665ha parcel located adjacent to the Little Qualicum River in the Regional District of Nanaimo. Timberlake-Jones Engineering (TJE) is the Prime Consultant and Project Manager for this long term project. Timberlake-Jones took over management of this project in 2001, with principals involved since its inception, co-ordinating and obtaining all approvals required for subdivision. We were instrumental in negotiating during the Regional District of Nanaimo’s Growth Management Plan development to establish a designated Village Node within the future development area. TJE’s administrative duties on this project were extensive, requiring preparation, monitoring and updating of project schedules and budgets regarding development, construction, co-ordination with Inland Island Highway planning and construction, and construction contracts.
